Mistaking a sidearm for a TASER isn’t good for your future either. Double surprise!
When I was a deputy, i responded to a vehicle accident with fatality. The lady ran over another person with her car when she mistaken put the gear on D instead of R. No arrest, no conviction. Why? It was an accident.
Now, this lady cop Kim Potter is going to spend 10-15 years in prison for making a mistake during the heat of the moment split-second decision caused by Daunte Wright?

Depends on the collision, some we charge, some we don’t.

He should have been in jail.....no one seems to care, that he shot someone in the head, and left them in a coma. For that, he should of been sentanced to life. Why was he not in jail?
Everything is different now. 20 years ago, Potter wouldn't have been tried.
Today, thanks to Fentanyl Floyd and what is now effectively a neo-apartheid system in America where certain colors of people are free to do as they please, and other color of people go to prison for looking at the aforementioned group wrong, this is now the climate we find ourselves in.
The creepy part is that this is just the beginning of said neo-apartheid system we now find ourselves in.
And the Cop paid the price . Convicted and in jail. right or wrong the system did it's thing. However... the mob would have been happier if he was thrown out the courthouse door so they could have torn him limb from limb! And you can bet they would have!
His knee wasn't even on his neck. It was on his shoulder blade.
OK so I got a single thing off... Care to tell me how Floyd's fentanyl level was enough to kill him while the medical examiners said it was Chauvin's knee creating the pressure and trauma for nine minutes.
I hope the judge will do the right thing and be extremely forgiving when it’s time for sentencing of this poor woman. I’m half Black, like the person who was accidentally shot, but in this case, mercy should be given by both the courts and churches.
Again, beyond sad. A dead man and a destroyed woman and some how many people still want blood.
On a side-note, this is sending a message to all law enforcement that doing nothing is now a safe bet and a way to stay out of prison…. Sadly, I can’t blame them and it will be the people who will end up paying the price, in the end.
If I was a cop I would immediately resign. It’s the only career where you can go to jail for making a mistake and have to deal with the scum of society everyday all while risking your life. The only reason anyone even knows about this case is because of the race of the “victim”.
Meanwhile violent crime is still at record levels all around America and the left can’t figure out why. The silent majority is watching and it will be a republican sweep next elections
This woman is going to prison for an accident while the cop that killed Daniel Shaver as he was begging to not be shot walked away free and clear.

How do we know or not that the medical examiner wasn't paid to lie on the stand?
But the real blame lands on the prosecutors of that county that continue to let animals out to destroy communities. At least Floyd isn't around anymore to hurt anyone else. And word on the street is that Chauvin has been moved to a secured location where his team is working on an appeal....
