Voting by mail makes it easier to commit fraud, intimidate voters, and destroy the protections of the secret ballot. It puts elections into the hands of the Postal Service. Without the oversight of election and polling officials, ballots can be lost, disqualified, and even stolen.

People say a lot of things. That doesn't mean it was ever going to happen. Plus, as we have seen, refusing to concede does not invalidate an election, it just makes one a sore loser. Democrats may cry foul but they still accept the results.
Probably more than anything else people remember how Trump won 2016 with foreign assistance, yet the Democratic candidate yielded graciously, essentially to preserve the institution of free elections and the peaceful transfer of power in our republic. No storming of the capitol, no scheming behind closed doors nor strong-arming political officials to switch electors.
The problem of foreign influence needs to be fixed, but the concept of free elections must be preserved. Otherwise it is like throwing the baby out with the bathwater, not good.
This is not simple: how do we correct the dangerous vulnerability in our elections when the person who benefitted by those vulnerabilities has the power? Various Federal agencies and the many states did what they could despite the fact that the president was not supportive and viewed their efforts with disdain.
That's the problem: unhappy Democrats after all is said and done would yield to the election results and everyone knows it, unhappy Republicans would fight to overturn the election and everyone knows it. We already have the experience with both scenarios.

We solve the foreign problem with election security. Free elections do not mean 'anyone' can vote... it means free and SECURE elections. They go hand-n-hand. The world has opinions and can interject it where and when they want, within the bounds of their domestic laws and ours.

Here's something to think about... A recent legal proceeding in Florida proves the cheap, theatrical partisanship driving nationwide Democrat attacks on election integrity. Priorities USA, a Democrat super PAC, sued the state of Florida, claiming it made voting-by-mail too difficult. One of the plaintiffs, a Yale graduate student, was asked in a deposition to explain why returning his ballot was difficult. He explained it was a 30-minute walk to his nearest post office. He was then asked if he knew of Google and if he had used it to look for a closer mailbox. He stated that he had not used Google or done any other research to find closer mailboxes. The student was unaware of the USPS mailbox six blocks away from his apartment or that he could use the mailbox at his apartment complex. This disastrous deposition could have been the reason the Democrats gave up on the case, walking away before the trial even began.
