All who work for the government have to show this information- if have a security clearance-why is he the only one not subject to what is the normal vetting process. Clara didn't ask to be elected President, and didn't promise to release her returns. Trump did both.
Even if Trump did release his tax returns most people wouldn't know how to interperet them anyway except for certified accountants or tax attorneys. It's not like billionaires just file a basic form 1040A through H&R Block.

I just find it hard to believe an IRS audit of an individual is requiring more time than an IRS audits of billion dollar corporations with multiple entities.

Trump deserves any humiliation that comes his way because he lied.
What Trump should have done was, before the 2016 Election, was tell people that his returns are none of anyone's business (which I agree with), and then let the chips fall where they may politically.
However, Trump was too much of a coward to do that.
He didn't want to potentially give up any votes he might lose for saying he wouldn't release his returns so, instead, he lied......saying he would release them 'after audit' and then never did.

It's funny that the anti-trumpers are worried about us being lied to.....I guess they don't care they are also being lied to by our current president. But as long as it's against the right, they don't care.

Absolutely Trump is enormously different than any of the people in your list. Trump is a dangerous self-absorbed narcissist who will go to any length to protect his bloated ego, and to avoid ever having to be accountable for his actions - everyone knows by now that he is a sociopath. His worshipers celebrate that fact, while the rest of the rational world works to expose him and to depose him.

Even the special solicitude accorded former Presidents does not alter the outcome... The Court will therefore dismiss this case."
