Plenty of much worse in Chicago than this.
Well, not really the point....but if you think it's cool and acceptable to kill someone because he was trying to steal his stash, then it would seem you're also cool with smash and grab....
The point is, he pleaded guilty of murder and served no time what so ever.
Well, that is the world of a plea bargain but look at it this way.......if the result of pleading guilty to murder is jail time all the time, then why do it? Make the prosecutor work for every win for if the DA wins, one gets hell.
He saved the court some time and plead guilty. Maybe their was a chance he could have avoided murder because it was over stolen goods. Stolen illegal goods, but stolen goods.
They make a plea deal because their worried taking it too court might not be an open-close case. He get's a light sentence.
I don't agree with the sentence but it's extremely logical. Sentences like this happens all the time just because they case isn't as straightforward. You don't want him going to trial and beating the charge, do you?
