Mayo Clinic Fires 700 Employees for Refusing to Get Vaccinated

Ah, well, that ought to solve the staffing issues.

It does. Insubordinate employees are a staffing issue and terminating them is the best solution. Better to be a little short-handed with quality employees than to be fully staffed with disgruntled workers. That's true in any business.

Not necessarily true in the healthcare business.

Mayo Clinic will find out that the quality employees don't like things like excessive hours, which you'll get when you are short-handed. Healthcare is different than most employment scenarios because of the 12 hour shifts that are common in hospitals. And don't think that those vaccinated employees won't fall victim to burnout, covid, etc.

How many more mandates will people obey?
We all know for these people if Trump put the mandates in place they would be more awake to this nonsense. The only reason they like this is because they see the “other side” as the ones being attacked which they approve.

They fired unvaxxed workers but now the CDC is saying hospital workers can come into work with mild symptoms.

This is BS.

Because our esteemed government is finding out that people will not just "roll up their sleeves" because the government said so and then cite their own "internal studies".

True science does not hide data. When you hide, obfuscate, lie and change your tune every week trust is lost.
And by now many people have lost trust in our government.

This pretty much sums it up. When you constantly lie to people, use double-standards, etc trust will be the first casualty of that war. Science isn't about agendas, manipulation, etc, but here we are.

The problem is that the current administration is either too stupid -- I'm looking at you, Kamala Embarrass -- or too senile to even comprehend how people could not trust them.

It seems like just yesterday that Harris was opening her lie hole daily and filling the air with her anti-vax stance.
