Just because something is banned does NOT mean criminals will not use them. They are CRIMINALS...they do not pay attention to gun laws...hello!
Yep, the AK47 is the most widely used assault rifle on the planet...if anyone thinks they are 'hard to obtain' just because of the laws...they are sorely mistaken! In fact, the AK47 is one of the easiest and cheapest assault rifles to obtain.

The "weapons of war" label on certain firearms is just another leftist hoplophobe buzz phrase being used to stir up fear among an unfortunately ignorant and large group of people, mostly in urban areas, who know nothing about firearms and US shooting culture beyond Hollyweird and what Dem politicians spew from the holes under their noses. These woefully underinformed people believe that all firearms owner in the US are raving lunatics in greasy overalls sporting unkempt beards stained with tobacco juice living in dilapidated 1960s single wide trailers with piles of Pabst cans strewn about and an Army of N VA battle flag in their window.

That is how the leftist Dems portray ALL of rural America and firearms owners in particular. Being a firearms owner is homogeneous with being an ignorant (and racist of course) refugee from Deliverance stockpiling "weapons of war" in preparation for a "rapture" that more resembles the rantings of Jack Wilson (Wovoka) than anything else. The truth of course is as different as night and day.

The problems with violent crime involving firearms are smack dab in the cities which the leftists preach would be shining Utopias if it weren't for firearms owners. In a sense that's true if you count drug dealing gang bangers using illegally obtained and often already highly restricted types of firearms as "firearms owners." "Mass shootings" happen every day and night in huge urban centers but they don't get any press because they don't involve a deranged White guy with an AR 15 or a just as deranged White kid who brings a gun from home and shoots up his school. Note how quickly the story went away and how quickly the narrative changed when that Black kid shot up his school rust recently.

And he was granted bail amidst cries of outrage that he had been bullied and was justified in what he did. You can't have it both ways neo Dems. Make up your minds.

Wouldn't put it past them to follow in the footsteps of Euro countries that have.

It certainly will not have an impact in those who go out with the expressed intention to kill or those belonging to gangs or other violent organisations.

Americans have always had the right to bear arms, and I don't think it would be wise for any politician to mess with Americans rights.

I also have to admit, that if I lived in a sparsely populated area alongside animals that could pose a danger, then I would want a gun.

Whilst many Americans even in cities or suburbs sleep more securely knowing they have that handgun in the gun cabinet or at close hand.

In terms of the US gun debate, it's for Americans to decide if certain weapons should be classed differently, however I do not see Americans ever letting the Government ban handguns or place authoritarian restriction on gun ownership, and Biden and the Dems needs to understand this.
