Everything in life continues to be about racism and diversity, so predictable.

After two years of painting messages like “end racism” on football fields and printing anti-racist slogans on t-shirts, the NFL’s commitment to doing so is falling short. Brian Flores' lawsuit is a reminder that statements, slogans, PR campaigns and partnerships with Black entertainers are not sufficient for addressing systemic racism.

Out of 32 NFL teams, Mike Tomlin is the only Black coach. More than 70% of NFL players are Black. This fact alone says more about the NFL's work on fighting systemic racism than any quote on a jersey, message in the end zone or financial partnership with a Black entertainer. The NFL has had ample time to address the lack of diversity among its ranks in general manager positions, head coaches, coordinator positions and key front-office positions

Does sound like racism. 15% of the population but make up 70% of the players? They need a more diverse player mix.

What are they falling short on? I see a very diverse league all the way to the GM’s.

Aren't 75% of the players black?

How is there "not enough diversity" in the NFL?

Why was Flores fired? I thought he did a good job with the Dolphins. They swept a the Patriots and I watched them beat the Saints. Those players played hard for him.

He didn't play along with the suits and tank the season to get a high draft pick.

Note - Lovie Smith hired by the Texans. Just like that - the NFL just doubled it's coaching diversity.

Wanting a specific number of any position in any industry to be filled by a certain number/percent of a specific racial demographic is wanting to violate the Civil Rights Act.

Having a policy (which the NFL currently does not have, but is on the verge of being dumb enough to implement) that demands/regulates a certain number/percentage of a certain racial demographic occupy a specific position within an organization is in fact a violation of the Civil Rights Act.

Essentially, these calls for "diversity" are nothing more than using suggestions, threats/use of negative PR and other informal economic sanctions in order to violate the spirit of the Civil Rights Act without actually violating the letter of same.

They need more Asian guys. Good friend growing up of Japanese descent loved football they need to find guys like him. So what if he is 5'4 and 110 lbs have to be diverse. Diversity is far more important then ability I know that is true I've been told it by the far left for years now.
