Depends on how much effort/money the Democrats put into getting out their vote.
FL is an expensive state to campaign in. Their ground game during the last presidential race was non-existent in FL. They decided they didn't need FL to win so didn't bother with it.
Remains to be seen if they want to step up their game and take DeSantis down now so they don't have to deal with him later in 2024.
Because DeSantis was in charge, Democrats knew they couldn’t cheat. So they focused on states they could steal the vote. 2020 had an unprecedented money spent, most of it dark and going to do the Democrats. If they felt it would make a difference they’d spend the farm. But money can only do so much when you’re hated.

Trump's camp could try to take DeSantis down in 2022 so they don't have to deal with him in 2024. Don't discount this idea. Roger Stone already said some pretty terrible things about DeSantis and we all know Roger Stone wouldn't do this without Trump's approval.

The Villages sees a voter-fraud outbreak — with a MAGA twist
On Tuesday, a resident of the Villages, Charles Barnes, was arrested for allegedly having voted more than once in the 2020 election. It was the fourth such arrest in the past month; in December, three others were arrested for having allegedly committed the same crime. In each case, the person is accused of having cast ballots from Florida but also other states where they had residences, including Michigan, New York and Connecticut. Three of the four were registered Republicans at the time of the election.

Because of the recall over his election in 2018 he made many changes including nixing two supervisors of elections in South Florida and appointing Laurel Lee as secretary of state with the responsibility of making sure Florida wouldn’t F things up in 2020.

Sure anything can happen. Some video was just issued of Stone trash talking Trump over not issuing preemptive pardons re Jan 6. and talking about murdering his son-in-law so not sure if they are still buds or not.
It would be extremely entertaining to watch Trump and DeSantis go at each other. I am unconvinced Trump will run again and I dont think he can win again even if he does. Jan 6 and the phony stolen election drama are both a bridge too far for most mainstream Republicans and Independents who previously supported him. His cult following base is not large enough to reelect him. And, either or both he and Biden could drop dead before 2024.
Say goodbye to the GOP's campaign for parental rights of school children. The DeSantis video will be played over and over to show the hypocrisy. They'll type his words in bold caption on the video.
Downplay it all you want, but this will damage DeSantis, ever so slightly. Could come back later to haunt him in the 2024 presidential primary. Other Rs running for the 2024 GOP primary will show that video too....call DeSantis anti-freedom. Which is true. He shut down Florida too, and is trying to shift blame to Trump for shutting down Florida.
This will not make one iota of difference regarding anything.
DeSantis is just another moron holding an office. The more he opens his mouth the more we all learn who he really is.
He graduated magna *** laude from Yale, spent a year teaching before attending Harvard, graduating with a Juris Doctor *** laude. The moron is the current occupant of the White House.
