For weeks, while the Russian Army surrounded Ukraine, Biden insisted, through his talks with Putin that he wasn't going to attack, that it was just a military exercise, and Biden believed him and did nothing.

I have no doubt he didn't listen to his military leaders no more than he listed in Afghanistan. He may be demented but he is egotistical and probably borderline personality disorder.

And that will stop the Russian army?

That's absurd to think that putting sanctions on Russia would cause anyone to blame Biden for the Russian attack. No one but idiots thought that the huge buildup of troops on the Ukraine border was just a "military exercise". Now, due to Biden's "too little, too late" response, Biden definitely DOES share some of the blame.

That’s quite a stretch, linking the war in Ukraine to the Green New Deal, which has not passed Congress. Also a stretch is linking a pipeline that was several years away from completion to Putin’s invasion.

The fact is that we import roughly the same amount of oil from Russia today (not a lot) as we did in 2020. You can be against the GND and for the pipeline, but stop pretending these have anything to do with Ukraine.

What specific actions sooner? Sanctions?

I think Americans vastly overestimate who much we control the rest of the world. I really doubt Trump or Biden or George Washington reincarnate would change things. Both Ds and Rs going to Ukraine and making them think we 100% have their back when in reality the most we'll do is send more weapons and intelligence was a disaster. It made Ukraine poke the Bear only to be fighting alone. China is who has control of Russia. Russia's economy is tied to China, not a West that already sanctioned them. If China pressures Putin to wind the war down it will end.

Notice how Joe Biden is missing in action in this whole situation.

The “Leader of the Free World” is invisible, doesn’t exist, while the world goes up in flames.

I’m not a Republican or a Democrat but I’m glad your president is working with NATO rather than making drastic unilateral decisions that would affect an entire continent of people that he doesn’t represent or live on.

The only people who think the US president is the leader of the free world are the ones who live in the United States.
