pretty gross and evil stuff but propaganda has been at an all time high on both sides. Not sure what to believe anymore from this war.
It's easy to define what to believe. Everything that western media and politicians say is the truth. Everything that Russia says is Russian/Putin's propaganda.
At least many people including folks of this forum use this simple formula.
They don't. Here's a clue, in case you really want to "think" about something: not all men are rapists. Not all women are saints and virgins.

The profound historical ignorance shown in this thread is astonishing. But not a surprise given the dumbing down generation after generation in our skoolz and kollijiz. When the "teachers" think grooming innocent children is their duty, but many kids can barely read or write, including HS grads and many in college, or--as is seen in this thread--know the slightest smidgeon about history, you get these sorts of uninformed viewpoints.
It's one thing to shell or bomb a city. It's an entirely different matter to rape women or execute people who are occupied. Anyone who argues otherwise is defending the indefensible. Completing military objectives is one thing, terrorizing and molesting a population is an entirely different affair.
Where were all these people when women in Ukraine were victims of human trafficking? Well organized mass rape , coercion and red light districts in the West all this time , but now they care.....

Well we've seen so much propaganda on the Ukrainian side which wrecks credibility on anything coming out for them.

Its worse on the Ukrainian side which is another reason why I use it as evidence that they are losing. Most of the Russian stuff is of the omission variety. Just ignore the bad news. I suspect things are pretty ugly at this point where Ukraine is pinned down in Donbas.
Imagine defending everything Russia does just because a bad President doesn't like them. Couldn't be me....
