The flight attendants also had several unmasked conversations in the galley amongst themselves.
Enforcement may vary from one airport or airline to another. You may hear constant announcements over the PA about the masking requirement, and there may be signs posted all over the place, but I think in an effort to avoid hostile confrontations, it isn't strictly enforced.

Employees may be another story. They can be threatened with disciplinary action for non-compliance.

I guess you do need an explanation after all.

Breathing - not voluntary
Flying as a passenger in a US-based commercial aircraft - voluntary.

That's irrelevant.

It's government overreach. An arbitrary, capricious and unreasonable one. End of Discussion.

Irrelevant.

Your logic: If you don't like it, then don't do it.

If you don't like air pollution, then stop breathing. Ok for others to breathe pollution.

If you don't like murder, then don't kill anyone. Ok for others to murder.

Easy peasy. Idiot logic is fun.

LOL!

Although I respect your CHOICE to do that, as ridiculous as it is. Just don’t FORCE me to wear one.
