Different Walmarts can have vastly different inventories too. There are three with 5 miles from me and all carry some different items. And the prices are different.

Yes, but sunflower oil is a lot more popular for cooking in Europe than it is in North America. (I’ve never in my life bought sunflower oil.)

Well I definitely will pay more for locally grown produce, whether it's from the local section at Walmart or the grocery store or if I'm handing the cash to the farmer. I want them to stay in business.

Yup. At a recent festival fresh squeezed lemonade was $7 for a cup. I got a water instead for $1.00.

Sunflower oil is used in a lot of prepared foods. Not just for home cooking.

You don't go to farmer markets for locally grown. Go drive the country roads..buy off the back of a truck or a farmstand.

Great for you. It is 10+ miles to a rather dingy Aldi for me. A place I feel save to buy canned food but not meat/vegetables/fruit. Everything else is further. The idea of horse and buggy does not work as we cannot keep farm animals in the city on properties not zoned for it.

I have not seen one in 11 years in TX/OK. The city farmers market is a hoax. Muffins in zip locks, eggs 5/12, ...
