Yearning to be FREE. NOT "Give us your Tired and Poor Yearning to be on the Government Dole".

We didn't have a $3T welfare state back then. We can't afford any more people on the Government dole.

Well, if he had any competent staffers in his administration, they would have gotten way ahead of this once the recall was issued and the pain could have been minimized.
Honestly, though, pallets of baby formula at the border while US citizen children go without is absolutely disgraceful.

It's called breastfeeding!!!

Secondly, the U.S. government should promote breastfeeding as it's healthier for the mother and baby.

Not all mothers can breast feed . and about the " Old Days ", infant mortality rates were much higher ,a fairly high percentage of new born are allergic to their mothers milk.
Any way the administration think babies are a problem in that the mothers didn't abort them. Besides the illegal's at the Southern border need the formula .
Oh ,Im wrong ...prove it.

Government didn't cause the contamination in the Abbott plant in Michigan. But why is the plant still shut down 8 months later?

And even with other manufacturers ramping up production, why will it still take a month or more to get the products onto store shelves?

House Republican presses USDA, FDA about baby formula shortages: 'Apparent lack of an effective strategy'

by Houston Keene
FOXBusiness

Rep. Dusty Johnson, R-S.D., sent a letter to the USDA and FDA regarding the ongoing shortages that have left shelves and bottles bare, pointing to the "out-of-stock rate of over 50%" in his state in a press release exclusively obtained by FOX Business.

In the release, Johnson also accused the agencies of being "aware of contamination at Abbott Nutrition as early as September 2021" and finding "an increased level of bacteria in January 2022." The Abbott Nutrition formula was eventually recalled in February 2022.

"Between September 24, 2021, through December 18, 2021, FDA received three additional consumer complaints. But a follow-up facility inspection did not begin until January 31, 2022. Why was there a 44-delay to initiate this inspection?" Johnson asked.
I’m going to take a wild guess here and say, Christmas and New Years and vacation time had something to do with it.

People. These people live in a bubble of their own creation. The real world on the ground is not their concern. How else could they have left billions of dollars in new state of the art equipment and 125 Americans in Afghanistan?

They are absent.

Please provide your scientific evidence that "a fairly high percentage of newborn infants are born allergic to their mothers milk" as you stated, because I think that is a very FALSE statement!
