U.S. neighborhoods are more segregated than a generation ago, perpetuating racial inequity (suspect, high school)

If people want an American version of Orania or something then okay. Not going to hold that against them. If people desire ethno-heterogenous communities then that's their decision too.
Integration shouldn't be coerced or arm-twisted by people. If it's carried out naturally through peaceful consenting methods then fine.
Well, there are still some people who would use race as a reason for not wanting certain people in their neighborhood. Anyone can live where they want, but there are those who choose places to live based on "that race of people doesn't live there".
You'd be welcomed in the South...especially the Atlanta metro areas. We are the closest to colorblind in the South that I've experienced....way more evolved than New England, or California. Some areas of downtown Atlanta were no-go for Whites, but I felt the rest of the areas were fine. I found Whites more accepting of other races, than some inner-city blacks were of other races.
Yes, there are always some whack jobs, but generally speaking, ATL was the best integrated place I lived out of Brooklyn, Detroit, St. Louis, Birmingham, SE Florida, SW Florida, & Columbus, Ohio.
The South is 50 years ahead of the rest of the USA imho.
I grew up in the South, about 25 miles west of Atlanta. I actually went through alot of racism where I lived. I would say it's a mixed bag. Marietta, Sandy Springs, Decatur, those places are alright. However, I've been to other parts of the South, and I found things to be less evolved. I've never been to New England. I've been to the Pacific NW and Texas though.
I still live in the South, just not in the Atlanta area anymore. Something about the traffic in that city got to me.
Some people just like being around people who look and have the same culture as them. It's only looked at favorable when it is people of color to our Marxist Americans

Exactly. I don't understand why that is such a difficult concept.
Okay, answer this then. Why should I think along the same process that you are thinking on? Why should I view preaching about integration as a bad thing? Why should I view integration as bad?
Integration is bad if it is forced by the government. The damn government has no business telling people where or with whom one must live among.
People should be able to choose to segregate or integrate.

I don't see anyone telling where I can or cannot live. I'm free to go wherever I want, thanks to integration.
