In our state, all elections are by Mail, and there are no polling places since 2011. One improvement would be for the county voting registrar to talk to the county death certificate department and stop send out ballots to dead people. My mother-in-law passed in 2013, and we still get her ballot for every election. We choose to shred it rather than vote for her, but I'm sure that others do use that to cheat. Why haven't we stopped it? Because it requires sending in a copy of the death certificate, which cost $25.

Make sure GOP members stop trying to vote more than once (IE: Mark Meadows).

Acknowledging that the problem exists in the first place. From there you have a Justice Department and FBI that actually does their job in investigating these matters rather than trying to bury it all like they've done with Hunter Biden's laptop. People will try to metaphorically hang Trump for his instructions of marching to the capitol building (absent the stipulation that it be carried out "peacefully") but when it comes to Biden's acknowledgement of having put together the "most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organisation" there's no formal investigation or even calls to have one.

It sends a red flag to me that they must have some new way to cheat and think they will be sitting pretty in the elections.

What can be done to help stop as much cheating with ballots of illegals, dead people and people voting multiple times?

I think all USPS drop boxes should be locked at voting times so random people can't dump a bunch of ballots off anonymously without any type ID. Go inside the post office and present ID. Also they should have their pic taken just in case their ID is fake.
I have had an open mind about election fraud. Thus far, there is no evidence to support it.

First, it is necessary to prove widespread cheating. Former Trump DOJ, made clear to point out there was no evidence of widespread cheating that could have changed the outcome of the 2020 election. Obviously, Trump viewed facts contrary to his messaging to be fake.

For 17 months now, the My Pillow Guy has been claiming he will reveal proof of massive election fraud. Still waiting.

Two electronic voting systems have filed defamation suits on some media celebrities, Lindall, Trump lawyers etc and who subsequently backed off. Nearly 100 suits have been tossed out of courts due to lack of evidence. Judges include left and right.

Five states, Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, Utah and Washington have long relied mostly on mail in ballots and drop boxes.

For all the recounts and audits, there remains no evidence of massive fraud. It has not stopped Trump from perpetuating the myth nor those who believe it. There may also be foreign interests at work here to undermine the perception of integrity of elections as the US has done in other countries.

That’s just stupid. Is a death certificate filed in the county?

IIRC, the funeral home or if used, hospice notifies Social security. Then the credit reporting company get notified. Looks like the state could get that info. The state also has access to many other places where they could learn of deaths.

If you were to vote her ballot, would it be counted. Time to verify that.

Do you get a ballot or an application for a ballot?

You beat me to it. Since 99% of all of the fraud cases confirmed were republicans trying to vote twice or filling out ballots for dead relatives, the best idea would be to disenfranchise republicans.

North Carolina already took care of the Mark Meadows problem.
