Who would have though letting violent criminals out of prison early, or refusing to lock them up in the first place, was a good thing? Who would have thought making heroes out of criminals while demonizing police, was a good thing? Who would think empowering rioters, looters and arsonists and making them out to be victims, was a good thing? Not me.

Good guys with guns don't usually get invited to house parties full of gang banging thugs, where these shootings keep ocurring. Gang banging thugs will be gang banging thugs. If they didn't use guns, they would just beat you to death.
You can find lots of good guys with guns in red states with Constitutional carry. Oh, and they rarely if ever kill anybody with their guns, because they are not GANG BANGING THUGS.

Guns are legal and guaranteed by the constitution. No one is "adding" anything. Free people can choose to buy them in the the greatest superpower on Earth because we are not peasants subject to the whims of our oppressive government (at least not yet).

Essentially, the Exocets locked on a large target in the area. It was hoped by the Argentinians that the large radar target at the launching was a carrier but no, they locked on the Conveyor. Radar could not distinguish between the different types, it just saw size. This was reported in the TV show Living Dangerously, Operation Falklands.
A question that came up was should a civilian ship be armed with CIWS systems. No, because one does not want a civilian crew reacting to the modern warfare and shooting down anything that flies, be it foe or friendly (tough news for the mariners in the war zone).
Okay, in reverse order here, were the good guys with the guns the ones being attacked? If not, then it is not their area to search out and take out the bad guy (especially since they may be identified as the bad guy and shot themselves).
As civilians, we are expected to run from danger, not toward it. That's the job of the police.
OF COURSE, there is the other thing, too..........that the reason why civilians have guns is not for hunting or protection against criminals........but to keep the government in line.

Funny isn't it, how most of those violent crimes happen in cities with the most restrictive gun laws and the "bluest" residents. Entire states have lower total murders than individual cities.

And remember, congress owns the house and the senate......AND the WH.......
The article mentions California, Miami, Baltimore, Vegas, New York, Portland, Pittsburgh, and Columbia, SC.
All of those areas are deep blue.
So using this example, I’d say the “good guys with guns” got fed up and moved to Republican areas.
They are major cities , what other major cities are not mostly blue ?
