It's much higher than 1 million. Those are the ones that we've encountered. TBH, they don't really know how many "got aways" have eluded the border patrol.

I think the Dems miscalculated. Illegal aliens are social conservatives, they're religious, against marxism, far left ideology, that's why Biden has an approval rating of just 26% with Hispanics/latinos right now.

If made citizens they will mostly vote Democrat just like their citizen counterparts. Their religion, etc. will always take a back seat to that.

That is true. The Hispanics that I know are very family oriented, something the Far Left seems to be against plus many of the "migrants" are fleeing corruption and socialism, two things that the Far Left is in favor of.
The thing is though the Democrats will be using the "migrants" by dangling the promise of citizenship and demonizing the Republicans by saying that they will deport you.
The Dems do the same with the Black community by talking about Reparations and casting the Reps as racists.
We also see the Democrats appealing to the young beyond the brainwashing we see in our schools, with the carrot that is the student loan debt cancellation. The Republicans on the other hand are ready to use the stick to beat people into paying off their loans. What a bunch of meanies!
The Democrats are buying votes with both their handouts and promises but it is going to take many years for these "new American democrat voters" to wake up and realize the promises are empty.

I am sure the Cherokee, Choctaw, Chickasaw, Creek, and Seminole felt the same thing with the White invaders taking over their territory. Yet what these type of people experienced was far worse than what happening today with all the undocumented people entering the USA from the South.
