It wasn’t a major problem. The major problem occurred when politicians stopped enforcing immigration law. The laws worked well when enforced. That included arresting those aiding and abetting illegals.

These politicians need to start doing time. A 10 year minimum would be nice.

These pro-illegals who bring up a long ago past crack me up. Of course they also have to describe the early settlers as "white" along with it to pull the race card.

There were no immigration laws back then, nor an established country, nor was there any land owned. Everyone had a right to migrate here before the USA became an established country. The so-called natives weren't natives either they migrated here just as the Europeans did.

It's faulty logic to compare a long ago past without immigration laws to the present time where there are.

See my post #33. You don't know WTH you are talking about! There is no such thing as an undocumented either. They are illegal aliens!

And that doesn't count the hundreds of thousands of "got-aways."

What is the sum total of illegal crossings at the border during President Biden's term thus far?

Let's do the math.

There have been just shy of 2.5 million apprehensions during the Biden era, hundreds of thousands of which have resulted in migrants being processed and released into the country.

During the same time period, US officials have logged roughly 700,000 known 'got-aways,' meaning illegal immigrants detected by border authorities who lacked the manpower or resources to intercept those unlawful crossers. Add those figures up, and you're at 3.2 million. That is approximately equivalent to the entire population of states like Iowa, Utah, or Nevada.

You are making the case for why unchecked immigration was destructive for those people, so why is it not also destructive today?

And the American people don't like it when our politicians sell out the nation for their cheap short term political goals. The only politician who was trying to end this vicious cycle was Trump. Now we have the anti-Christ of illegal immigration as our president.

The question is - who the hell is Biden catering to with his insane and destructive immigration policies????

Biden approval rating lowest with Hispanic voters, poll finds

Biden's approval ratings among Hispanics are down to 26%, according to a recent Quinnipiac poll. This is a nearly 10 point drop from Biden's approval rating on April 6, when he maintained approximately 34% of the Hispanic population. Similarly, low approval was reported in most demographics.

Hispanics care about immigration, as first priority. They don’t care about Socialism euphemisms thrown around in political wars here. They now there’s money and they want to be as comfortable as possible.

More immigration = end of conservatism. Don’t believe me, just look at California. Lots of family oriented and educated immigrant voters there. How about 35% Asian San Francisco?

Most minorities do vote Democrat though so obviously amnesty for illegal aliens and socialism are what makes them vote that way. Being family orientated has nothing to do with it except Hispanics are very tribal so they consider illegal aliens to be a part of their family in identity. There is just no denying their voting statistics.
