Because it is far less of a hassle to give into the angry demands of the screaming customer, than it is to push back against her and do what's right. The person screaming does not need to provide much context. All they need to do is scream at the store employee and falsely accuse them of doing her wrong. It's impossible for the employee at the customer service desk to explain the details of the facts to all the customers, about how out of line and fraudulent the screaming woman's accusations are.

It's the same way the left wins so many votes on bills in congress. The dems are famous for giving misleading names to bills like "Helping defenseless babies bill." It takes less than five seconds, and a short newspaper headline, to damn Republicans for voting against the "Helping defenseless babies bill." Who the hell can oppose helpless babies?

But it will take quite a few pages for Republicans to list how this bill does nothing to help babies, and how it's actually all a subterfuge so the dems can use billions in taxpayer monies to reward their political and corporate cronies, enrich their special interest groups, while punishing their political enemies.

That's the way an Idiocracy works. Just like in the movie.

I don't see them as all that smart. All they do is push their Marxist agenda forward and scream at any opponent who opposes them, by calling them bad names, and try to ban them from social media.

It doesn't take much planning to just call everyone a racist, transphobe, misogynist, fascist, etc... But they are seemingly organized, in that everyone on the left automatically knows what to do ahead of time. Any time someone posses the left's agenda, claim victim hood, call your opponents racist oppressors and hurl every mean name at them that you can think of.

If Einstein started talking about Relativity to a monkey, the monkey would probably think Einstein was just babbling away about some nonsensical mumbo-jumbo, and the monkey would probably think Einstein wasn't terribly bright.
I think the establishment Republicans and Democrats in Congress both like the power and control that the dems are amassing. However there are still people in both parties who are people who posses virtue and common sense, and they speak out and oppose the direction the dems are taking. So it's not like the Republican leadership are stupid, it's that they like power and control just as much as the dems do.

Most Republicans oppose the radical elements of the Democratic Party leadership. Once the repubs take control of the House and Senate, all of that power and authority is theirs again, and they will refuse to employ the more radical elements engaged in by the dems.

It's sort of like the dems creating the political versions of nerve gas and nuclear weapons. When the repubs take control of Congress, they will gladly use all the new conventional weapons the dems have created. However, unlike the dems, the repubs won't use the nerve gas and nukes. The dems will use them and have been using them.

They ARE smart - they are the Elected Mafia and Republicans can't figure out how to get rid of the Infiltration that has infected our Government, our Judiciary and Law and Order groups.

BINGO - they are well organized on Campus and quick to Identify the people they want to rise up. They start by getting them involved in Campaigns and each Campaign is a rung up the ladder of Leftism.
Then they get low level Government jobs and keep climbing the ladder until they take over Agencies.

Only one way to reverse this -- Government Unions have to be made Illegal, then and only then - can the Infiltration be slowly eliminated. Right now -- NONE of them can be fired.

The timeline seems like this:

1970 to 2008: far left was in academia and low level govt jobs but keeps a moderate public face

2008 to 2016: Obama's wins convinced far left that USA was ready to accept far left policies. K-12 teachers and college professors pushed far more aggressively leftward, convincing a decent chuck of their students to embrace a Great Reset and be willing to use violence to achieve goals.

2016 to 2020: Trump's win both outrages wokes and convinces them to up rhetoric. There is nothing too far left as long as it's left. Trump's twitter wars on things from NFL kneelers to 'Mexican judges' helps keep things hotter than if a more self controlled GOPer had been in office.

2020 to now: Biden's win moves many wokes from academics and low level govt jobs into high level federal positions to a far greater degree than under Obama or Clinton.

Important to note that even GOP dominated states allowed far left to take over K to 12 edu, local libraries, etc. They were too busy with dumb legislation on banning sharia law, abortion, Obamacare, etc. Even in deep red areas local schools have become far left to a surprising degree.

Hopefully, the United States Supreme Court will overturn Roe v. Wade.

That will be the beginning of the end of radical liberal nonsense in the United States.

They cheated to take control. Biden had millions of fake people follow him on Twitter. Those same fake people voted for him.

Can anyone explain to me how not so bright people gained so much control over those who claim to be smarter...the Republicans?
Easy. They shameless exploit low-information voters who are incapable of thinking more then 2 days ahead. That, and buying votes. Finally, white guilt.

Because the voters are not so bright and can be bought with government handouts.

Short answer, there are more Dems than Pubs. The pubs represent the higher income voters while the dems represent the middle and lower income voters. There are a lot more middle and lower voters than there are Beach43's.......

Republican (At least recently) charlatan Trump was able to whip up the Republican base with his race baiting. It worked in 2016 but his lies and over the top constant bashing of the Democratic at those ridiculous rallies, came back to bite him as the Dems showed up in record number. And please no more big lie shadow banning algorithms BS, Biden won fair and square.

It won't be long 2036 or 2040 until Texas turns blue. Thats is when the real trouble will begin for the Republicans.

No system is perfect and of course the Dems have many problems of their own. Just like many organized Unions the Democrats are a victim of their own success. That is how nutcases like the squad got elected. In the meantime the two party system works best. Both parties are necessary to keep each other in check
