If Democrats are not so bright, how did they take control over so much?
By knowing which promises they could make and lies they could tell, that would give people good impressions of them, on matters that people would not look into very much and find out they'd been duped.
Dictators the world over have used exactly the same techniques, to barge their way into power. Going back for centuries, and even millenia.
Power that people would never have given them if they knew just how badly things would turn out for their country.
But, those dictators knew from the start that if they made those promises and lies sound attractive enough, people would put them in power to get all those nice goodies. From then on, the dictators have got them just where they want them.
Democrats have become masters of manipulation. At a time when the average American person has become a sheep. You also have to remember that as long as Americans are fat and happy, have a second car in the driveway in a decent job they really could care less about what’s in the future. Some of us look ahead and we see a train wreck coming. Unfortunately the average American is in capable of doing that anymore. But do you know what storm is definitely heading our way. And yes, it’s the fault completely of the Democratic Party. That’s what America will awaken, unfortunately we will go through some very hard times. Probably a decade or more. Democrats may have been smart enough to gain control original poster of the set areas but they’re gonna lose them almost overnight.
Democrats / progressives always have an edge because they embrace "feel good" ideas. And those who want to "feel good" and not be bothered with logic and reason will always want them in power because they feel they will do their feel good ideas... and they do not care about the results.
If republicans were smart they would push the idea of logic and reason as the ultimate virtue... so those who run on feelings would be disliked.
They would get PR people so help them sell the relatively unpopular business of reality... but they don't.
They have figured out it is easier to use the progressive model to keep them rich so, they don't care about the country.
Democrats / progressivism, what we used to cal "liberalism," is like hitting the easy button. It takes no effort at all, to just agree with the dems that government should take care of us, solve all our problems, and all we need to do is walk out to the mailbox and say "hello check," and go on with our day.
As one famous, late radio talk show host said: "Liberalism is easy. It’s the default position, It's so seductive. It’s a set of false promises, and it’s a set of illusory things that make surface emotions easy as pie."

Well, that doesn’t do a thing in terms of solving the problem. But you don’t have to solve the problem to be a good person, to be a liberal. All you have to do is be able to recognize it and then convince people that it bothers you and that it shouldn’t be. Who wants to be the bad guy and oppose free this and free that? "Don't you care about helping people, you heartless creep?"
paying off federal student loans, doesnt have anything to do with students or money, its to buy democratic votes from those that pay loans.

The Pubs need to sell people/voters on why having those student re-pay their loans is better for them and all of us too. The Pubs are terrible salespersons.

Remember that the Democrats' tactics of lying and bullying, depend utterly on the people not finding out what they likely results of their plans will be for the country. At least, not before the next election.

because they know it's a losing battle....Puds don't hold Dems accountable..and neither does the Dems base
That's because holding Democrats to account takes personal resolve and conviction, and you need tough skin, because the leftist mob will come for you. They will seek out your family, your employer, to bully, hound and harass everyone around you until you have been punishing, banned, ostracized and your professional, political and private have been destroyed.
If you are a leftists Democrat, or espouse membership to any of their protected groups, you can say and do just about anything and not suffer any backlash. Your employer will not fire you, social media will not ban, or demonetize you, the press will not hound or dox you, and the screaming mob will not attempt to destroy your professional or private life. Anyone who does take action against the dems will face the angry leftist mob. That's why dems can do whatever they like and gain the false appearance of being in the majority.
so yes, being a leftist Democrat is easy, being a conservative, a Republican, or just being a non-political person trying to live your life, that is becoming difficult. You need to couch your words, look over your shoulder, be secretive, and keep a low profile, or else you might draw the attention of the angry leftist Democratic Party mob.
