They want the Russian government out of their country.
Whose land is it? Is Crimea Russian or Ukrainian? Why?

Not voting with the United States on issues like this is akin to voting against it. China is officially "neutral" but China is 100% on Russia's side. Don't presume a non-binding vote in the UN accurately reflects international sentiment. The only countries sanctioning Russia are "The West"(and not even all of it).

This has nothing to do with Putin. We could have killed Putin 20 years ago and nothing would have changed.

Ukraine has tons of missile defense systems, but Russia has already destroyed many/most of them. America doesn't care about the Ukrainian people. We're using Ukraine as our Army to weaken Russia. We don't want Ukraine to win, we just want Russia to lose(without triggering nuclear war).

Ukraine is not our friend. Ukraine is our enemy. But the enemy of our enemy is our friend.

Russian terrorists have been targeting civilians and infrastructures since day one of the war and have since intensified such attacks recently. What is Ukraine supposed to do? Suffer in silence? No, they fight back.

Russia used 200,000 troops to invade Ukraine. Most of you don't realize how little that is, so I'll give you an example. The region of Chechnya, albeit mountainous, has 1/35 the people of Ukraine, and is around 1/35th the size, yet Putin used 200,000 troops to invade Chechnya in 1999/2000.

Soviets used 2 million troops to invade Ukraine in 1943/44.

So a Russia offensive like we saw in the spring/summer cannot sustain without more men. This is simply war. It's ok to cheer on Ukraine, but some of these arguments are embarrassing, mostly because it shows how little you know about war, yet are commenting on it like you do.

Guess I was wrong. There is no energy crisis in Germany caused by the sanctions. Germany has solved it. They are burning 800 million unused face masks. Go green. I can just imagine. Dickens would be choking.

Saw reports this morning that the shooters who killed 11 at a Russian military training centers were Tajik migrants who had been recruited out of the day laborer ranks while living in Russia.

Looking for more information online, I also saw notes that there have been active border skirmishes between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan in the past month that have resulted in many deaths on both sides. Which is a situation that has largely flown under the radar in Western press.

Is that actually recruited or more like a press gang style affair?

There's gotta be a ton of pressure to make quotas.
