It's not a prosecution. It's a congressional hearing. There may be a criminal prosecution for some members of Trump's team, but that's not what this is.
It is a waste of time and just political grandstanding.

I am not worried about the make up of the Committee , I am fed up as a taxpayer that there are 3 concurrent investigations 2 of which have no legal authority to charge anyone criminally.

Both are important and certainly not unprecedented. In addition to the Watergate hearings, there have been congressional hearings to investigate the Iran-Contra scandal, the Benghazi incident, the Clinton's investments, and even steroid use in baseball, as well as many others.
