If this is the crime of the century against democracy, charge him criminally and stop with the political theatre
Are you old enough to remember the Watergate Hearings?

Qevin was asked to nominate people for the Committee. He nominated two who very well may end up charged with crimes for their parts in 1/6. They were rejected. Qevin pulled his other three.

If you don't like the makeup of the Committee, blame the republicans. There are two of them on the Committee, and they could have had five.

This crime is unprecedented in American history, and has a lot of viewer interest.

It is a waste of time and just political grandstanding.
Let DOJ do its job

If you are not interested, you are free to ignore the hearings.

I am not worried about the make up of the Committee , I am fed up as a taxpayer that there are 3 concurrent investigations 2 of which have no legal authority to charge anyone criminally.

It is a waste of time, money, and effort.

As one of the 47percent who actually pay federal income tax, I am free to ***** about the waste of time, money, and effort for this political side show

ONLY two republicans were allowed, and they are the ones who wanted to bash Trump.

You can't be serious that you think this is a real "hearing" where both sides get to speak, are you?

Yes, "lots of people have spoken." How many pro-Trump people have spoken? 0?
Jim Jordan was subpoenaed and refused to appear, he had an opportunity to tell his story. He spoke with Trump on Jan 6 although it somehow escaped his mind but for that reason he doesn’t belong on the committee.

Navarro and Eastman are also avoiding a chance to come before the committee.

All these folks wouldn't take the 5th in an investigation or ask for pardons, if its a sideshow.

Trumps words. “You see the mob takes the Fifth,” he said. “If you’re innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?”

IIRC, there was something about a conflict. There was a good chance he would be called as a witness.

A Democrat Jew Lawyer that voted against Trump twice:Alan Dershowitz to Newsmax: Jan. 6 Hearing Is Modern-Day 'McCarthyism'

"I have never seen a congressional hearing like this since McCarthyism,"
"What we heard today was so one-sided," he said. "For example, the claim that [Trump lawyer John] Eastman took the Fifth Amendment 100 times: Nobody explains that if you take it once, you have to take it 100 times. The law is once you start answering questions, you can't take the Fifth Amendment. You've waived it.
"So people who take the Fifth have to take it 100 times."
"There was so much overstatement, and that's what happens when there's no opportunity to hear the other side: You are always going to get overstatement, because having a two-sided situation is a check and balance on overstatement," he said. "And that's what we're having – overstatement after overstatement."
"It may be illegal, unconstitutional, but that doesn't mean it's criminal – and there's a vast distinction between something not being legal, or being unconstitutional, and being a federal crime in the criminal law books," Dershowitz concluded. "It didn't happen."

Enjoy the show Democrats. When the Republicans have the majority it's pay back. Just don't come crying foul.

Both are important and certainly not unprecedented. In addition to the Watergate hearings, there have been congressional hearings to investigate the Iran-Contra scandal, the Benghazi incident, the Clinton's investments, and even steroid use in baseball, as well as many others.

Our country was on the brink of chaos and a constitutional crisis. It's important to understand what happened so it doesn't happen again.
