It is not impossible to plausibly deserve both attributes. The common theme is populism, or advocacy of the interest of the "working class" vs. that of investors, and academics and so on. The left-wing aspect would be laws on minimum wage, tariffs and protectionism. The right-wing side would be strict immigration controls and tax-breaks to people with kids (as opposed to the child-free), and other "family friendly" laws. The archetype is the traditional manufacturing union-worker, with a stay-at-home wife and a bunch of kids.

Similarly, it is possible to be a classical conservative and a kind of leftist. The conservative side would be a Dickensian every-man-for-himself type of economy; pro-business, minimal regulation. The leftist side would be complete liberalization of matters of sex, public nudity, drugs and other "vices". The archetype would be a playboy hedge-fund manager in Manhattan, who likes to party on his super-yacht.

Oh...the joys of being an Independent voter.
+1 rep.

There are at least a dozen posters here that you should have on ignore...maybe closer to 2 dozen.

They're just raging lunatics void of any chance of reasonable discussion.

Plenty of others here I don't agree with often but that's part of a diverse group of opinions.

We do not need to entertain nutjobs though.

P.S. We also get alot of posters that whine about forum content...and then don't use ignore. Seriously, that's on you. Filter out the 1-2% that spew the garbage.

The poster was just making fun of the fact that Trump always promised but never delivered a healthcare plan. Just like the "Mexico will pay for it" thing. It's like saying we still haven't received payment from Mexico for Trump's wall. Just pointing out the lies. You should be used to this and I'm sure have some type of whattaboutism defense for him.

I'm not worried at all.

Historically, we have always been the unpopular opinion. We were formed as a rebellion to the establishment. You will recall that the establishment, at one time, supported the slavery of black people.

We know that you don't like us, and we don't care. We always come out on top. And a thousand years from now, we will STILL BE HERE.

The key to a majority control is at the state level if democrat's are able to do that could be the end for Republican control. Rural America will be the strongholds of Republican's they will have little control much like California today. If enough states flip blue the republican will be a minority at the federal level also.

Considering how horrible Democrats are, I doubt your propaganda means much for the future of the American electorate. A much higher percentage of the Hispanic electorate supported Trump and Republicans than in past elections. A slightly higher percentage of the Black electorate supported Trump and Republicans than in past elections. The horror of the Democrat party is being felt by most Americans with record high gas prices and the immense inflation with other products.

The Hispanic turn to the Republicans is something that is so scary to Democrats they reflexively deny it.

BUT, is it any surprise Hispanics would turn away from a big-government (AKA socialist), anti-traditional family, atheistic, trans and race-obsessed, economy-ruining, anti-cop group?

(Note: This is the general message the Democratic Party puts out through their actions and words. Admittedly, some of it is caricature.)

Yup, whatabout your fentanyl killing how many every week/day?

Are you dems nothing but sick creepy fentanyl pushers?

Go ahead and laugh it off.

Whatabout your DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL COMMITTEE'S newest & sickest apocalyptic poison, Isotonitazene , 20 stronger than the DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL COMMITTEE'S current favorite/sinister poison fentanyl.

So whatabout 1/20th the weight of one mosquito of ISO will kill an average human.

The typical woke [obviously misanthropic] response will be 'welp, they were addicts anyway, how is it OUR obvious fault WE obviously prevented Trump's wall?".

The problem is that not enough Hispanics and blacks will vote Republican to sway the elections. Many Hispanics still want amnesty for their ethnic group here illegally promised by the Democrats and many blacks like the socialism of the Democrat party.

There are quite of few posters here that have varied views.

As mentioned, when you have a bunch of politically rabid Foghorn Leghorn's and don't use ignore it just drowns out reasonable voices.

Just left a thread and one just strafed a thread with 6 posts on one page, I didn't see the content, just that they posted. I know it was worthless garbage and likely not accurate either....so not wasting my time there.
