By what twisted logic does it not follow? Please explain to us your rationale for assuming this should be considered an isolated, one off situation? These freaks are a subculture of homosexual males who costume themselves in bizarrely clownish, elaborate and provocative female attire, who perform sexual burlesque shows for audiences as a profession. And it is widely known to include backstage group sex orgies amongst themselves and audience members.

Just one glance at these mentally disturbed, sexually deviant males ought to be enough to cause any sane, rational person to immediately conclude that they do not belong anywhere near children.

What about this has you confused?

What I find confusing is the changeover from 'this is my job', as in I am a drag queen performer to the 'this is my LIFE.'

That evolution is what has shoved the drag queen "life" into chiid libraries. There is NO situation in which a child would ever encounter a drag queen performer. You've pointed out that drag queen performances are directed solely at adult only audiences.

Yet there is this insane notion that all children must accept drag queens because they will absolutely encounter one and they need to be tolerant. Tolerant of what exactly? Costumes? Adult entertainment? Because drag queens are an ACT not a reality, right?

Yet every rational adult knows this is wrong. Where did this sudden changeover to "drag queens are a lifestyle" happen?

ADD: Then more I think about this, the more it makes sense that the only reason drag queens are infiltrating kids spaces is to emphasize how fun transgenderism is. It has nothing to do with 'drag queens as entertainers.' Because drag queens are adult entertainers.

Only thing that surprises me about this story is that no kids caught monkey pox from the ahole.

Ah well, I'm sure this is just a complete coincidence, and nothing like this ever happens again.

Ain't that a relief.

The only truly offensive part of the story is the Police did not use their proper pronouns.

I mean, that could be accurate, but do you really think they inquired with the person in question beforehand?

Total outrage.

That's pretty bad. That's getting up into the realm of Catholic priest and Baptist Youth Minister territory.

I know as guy like that.

I think we were doing fine with story hour before they added Drag Queens or other controversial folks as readers. We really don't need it and the kids are not demanding it. I know of one bookstore that had such an event and it was in a LGBT part of a large city, where kids are aware of this lifestyle, and they were not required or forced to attend. Maybe the community standard is such that the business thought it was appropriate. Most places, the vast majority, are not engaged in this sort of thing, and, where it is, there are responsible adults and parents at the event. It seems to me that if you have to import clowns and jugglers and Drag Queens to keep the kids' attention, you need to get some better books. But this is like all the current transgender handwringing; it is so miniscule of an event that it has to be amplified 24/7 to keep people stirred up.
