From the Washington Examiner article:
Quote:
It was Merkel’s decision, against the advice of then-President Donald Trump, to build the Nord Stream pipeline.
Misleading.
Quote:
The Donald Trump administration has emphasized its separation from its predecessors in energy policy, but at least one aspect has been entirely continuous: its ardent opposition to the Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline from Russia to Germany. The Barack Obama administration opposed the Nord Stream 2 project, and the George W. Bush administration opposed the parallel Nord Stream pipeline before it became operational in 2011.

Also, from the Washington Examiner article:
Quote:
She refused to pony up the 4% of GDP that Germany owed NATO for Europe’s defenses
Untrue. Germany does not owe 4% of its GDP to NATO.
Quote:
Funding NATO
Allies make direct and indirect contributions to the costs of running NATO and implementing its policies and activities. NATO common-funded budgets and programmes are funded by direct contributions and equate to only 0.3% of total Allied defence spending, an equivalent of around EUR 2.5 billion to run the entirety of the Organization, its commands and military infrastructure.

Germany’s annual payments to NATO are a fraction of that EUR 2.5 billion. I am aware of no country who is in arrears of their share of that EUR 2.5 billion expenditure.

I believe they were saying that they'd be totally green by 2022. Looks like didn't work out, and never did if they were dependent on natural gas from Russia.

"This Old House" was better when they spent virtually the entire show rebuilding the old house. Now they spend what seems like half the program on ancillary things, like touring the nearby towns, etc. I miss Norm.

How do you run industries on "green energy?"
It's an utopia.

Germans were considering Russian gas as the cleanest source of energy.

No danger as from the nuclear stations; it goes via pipes - no smoke, no residues, no nothing.
Very efficient source of energy too.

Yes.

That's what it's all about, not "green energy."

You're trusting NATO and the Financial Times over the Washington Examiner?

Tsk tsk. You're still letting them have power over you.

This is the New Right Media, we don't care. They're all liars.

Oh, absolutely.
Germany has its own "greens" and LGBT now in charge of the government, *Tessa Ganserer* being one of them.

They have more or less the same agenda as the "left" in US.

But they all came to power after Merkel resigned.

Merkel was walking a fine line - in spite of her "moderate leftness" she was always keeping in mind the interests of German business.

And THAT meant good relations with Russia.

No way in hell. You have no idea how complacent the German military is. I spent 10 years as a NATO soldier in the US Army there.

They screwed the the pooch by concentrating on, Money. Who here pays 21% sales tax on goods?

The New Right Media has its own agenda, a financial one. They're as greedy and competitive as any other media. Let's not pretend they're for "the people" and are America's voice of honesty.

Unfortunately they don't have reputation on their side. The media you denigrate have journalistic legalities they have to follow. So if those make a mistake, they're obligated to post a retraction right there on the article. And they can be sued. And are. Therefore, they are much easier to vet for accuracy by the common everyday reader.

Paragraph 1 rebuttal: Yeah, they're as greedy as Donald Trump. But he nurtured and loved this country like no other President in my life time. With every mean tweet and Lefty tear, we all knew the Red White and Blue was back. And it'll be back again.

Paragraph 2 rebuttal: It's true that all media - no matter the political leanings - have to navigate our legal system. That's why Project Veritas keeps winning case after case and your pathetic lying scumbag media loses ad infinitum. It's called integrity. And your side has none.

P.S. Do you also find it a little ironic that you made a mistake when you tried to type "mistake"?
