She did. And it's not just about a miscalculation with Russia. Wether a war, a natural disaster or increased demand for what ever reason she played an all eggs in the same basket strategy with little back up.

People can't predict the future nor should they assume things will remain the same. She reacted on emotion and was worried about her image/legacy as much as anything. I remember when Syria stirred up about 10 years ago she wasn't exactly pro immigration, sanctuary etc and after some comments hit the press she reversed course relatively quick.

If just one event can throw a stategy/policy off it's time to change out that brittle strategy.

Except that Green Energy has made Germany more dependent on others due to it not producing near enough to meet their needs.

The corruption magically ended because Democrats need another war to distract from their abysmal performance at home. Ukraine is and was the most corrupt country in Europe, and the coup in 2014 by Biden made it far worse. Nothing noble about Ukraine, but that doesn’t stop Western propaganda from making them seem like an innocent and pure nation.

Germany deserves everything bad coming it’s way for exploiting poor EU nations.

It's different this time. Last time they didn't have the use of pedal assisted solar tanks.

Germany has the highest electricity costs in Europe, with a rate of around 35 US cents a kilowatt-hour. Let them have it. Just don't let the green leftist whack jobs try and do that here. Though they sure are trying to in many states... Cough cough California LOL
