So what shall we do about this? Stay at home? No beach trips this summer, no taking a walk on a beautiful sunny day, no shopping and no eating out with friends? Just stay at home?

we now know what we're looking at, the variant is getting weaker and weaker, it's prudent to get back to normal

even though some people are a little sick for a few days

I'm afraid you're not taking the virus seriously enough, ClaraC.

Haha, I think you're playing us!

Seriously tho, that whole "worst wave of COVID ever" headline sounds like typical fear mongering. Apparently the media hasn't had enough fun these past two years that they just want to keep the nonsense going on longer.

I hope you are just being sarcastic. One can do all the above and still get covid, get covid twice, get covid 5 plus times.

Let's face it, everyone of us will be exposed to this virus sooner or later.

From the article...

The short answer: No, of course not. One look at this graph should disabuse you of that notion. We’re nowhere near the peak we reached this past winter.

BUT, the graph does NOT include all the positives from home testing. Most COVID tests are done at home nowadays.
