No, no, the people who are destroying this country are the ones who have been robbing the federal budget blind in order to compensate for huge tax breaks for people who don't need them.

Liberals are staying in US, because they want to build a better America.

You don't need a passport to live at 25% percent of that...move to just about anywhere else in America!

We used to say live in America because take home pay goes way farther , there’s no taxes to pay for healthcare and parental leave and massive social services, BUT

With the doubling and tripling of monthly rents, that more than equates what is like an average Joe getting hit with an encroaching cost of living that leaves NOTHING to be saved . And doing a cost-benefit analysis on moving to Hamburg, Germany or Barcelona, Spain or somewhere in Prague or a villa in Montenegro and working remote vpn …. And having those costs of living

Yes it looks like it is for the first time maybe ever in recent history , mathematically true that you can save more money not living in America than you can living in America …. Because thousands and thousands a month for rent gas and medical and student loans is hitting us harder than European taxes are hitting Europeans

You just got here recently?

The Western World is the continents facing the North Atlantic and a few exclaves. "Freedom" is a fairly uniform lifestyle across that map. Who knows what the helll our handlers count or don't count. Of alll the men in the entire Western World who are incarcerated, more than half of them, maybe 3/4, are Americans and their conditions are by far the must brutal and inhumane. What kind of freedom is that? Americans lose their jobs, homes, family, for saying words like him, colored, disabled, and the vigilantes need no guns to enforce it.

Rent is even cheaper in (parts of) South America than in Europe. But again, doesn't matter unless you are either rich or have a job there.
Lol, who is talking about a "no income" situation?

This might come as a shock to the average Liberal, but most of the better countries in Europe have WAY STRICTER immigration laws and policies than here in America…. So!!! Just saying I’m moving to Europe isn’t very realistic since you are more likely to be deported back to the United States once you stay past the average 6 month stay.

I was stationed in Germany for three years and rented a German apartment, away from the base for close to two years. What I remember the most was my German friends were always complaining about their extremely high tax rates. Being an American Soldier, I was exempt from most having my apartment inspected by German tax collectors since by German law, you have to pay a yearly tax on your TV and other furnishings you own. ALSO!! All the Germans I knew, wanted to immigrate to the US!!

After leaving the Army, I traveled to several other countries in Western Europe and all I know was I was so glad to get back to the United States…. Even when landing in Newark, NJ!!

Honestly, the average American is too lazy to actually move anywhere, let alone to Europe. My better half’s sister wanted to spend a year working and traveling around Europe…. Only to return back to the US after a month. I tried to tell her that you can’t “just” work (legally) in every single Western European country and if caught, you will be processed, spend close to a month in detention BEFORE being deported back to the U.S.

3. Germany, again, you’ll need a visa to move, live, and work there. They have strict immigration laws.

4. You better learn German. Germany is not an English friendly country like Netherlands. I lived in Germany for a year and was very dependent on Google translate.

5. You don’t need to apply for citizenship or marry some local. Again, you need to find a company who can sponsor you a visa, or be really rich, or have a remote job.
"Europe is expensive as hell". A general statement without much meaning. In actuality many countries in Europe would be extremely cheap if you keep your US income. And that's what the OP mentioned. I'm in Italy now, in a major tourist area. Significantly cheaper than ... Dallas. Now, that's just from a tourist point of view - food, drinks, etc. Assuming one knows how to avoid tourist traps.
