The vaccine messaging should be, if you're over the age of 65 and you're at risk from multiple other ailments and co-morbidities, we urge you to get an annual booster along with your flu shot.

Everybody else, go on with your lives, have fun, you'll survive Covid!

You’re crediting the virus with something that any healthy immune system can beat.
The vaccines work less well for the elderly, obese and for those with medical high risks.
Obesity is but one risk factor. Age is a more important risk.

Nope, obesity was the biggest and most common risk factor.

Japan has a very old population and had no problem. Why? Because they’re not as fat as Americans.

"over the age of 65 and"
"and" should be "or"

the vaccines work “less well” for the only groups that are really at risk for severe outcomes.

Bingo, we have a winner.

“The vaccines work less well for those at the highest risk of dying due to illness and disease.”

The left is admitting the vaccine doesn’t work for those it promised to save.

What??!! I thought they were the target population and now you're saying this. You wonder why people are skeptical. No one is able to keep the story straight.

They are the largest risks, and the vaccines as they have been can only provide so much protection. This is the fact of our current medical technology. Without the vaccines many more would have died. We need a better and longer lasting vaccine that targets a more stable and less mutating area of the virus.

Why did they push the vaccine for children? Very, very, few children had any noticeable effects from covid.

I had far worse side effects from the vaccine than I did covid. I know several other people who are the same.

Meh. Not really. Covid isn't a threat to young people with co-morbidities anymore than any other virus/bacteria out there.

Yes there are some kids that literally have to live in a plastic bubble to survive and that's sad, but it is so extremely rare that the overall messaging shouldn't be out there to scare people, it should be informational and used to calm the general population.

Tree nut allergies are a larger threat to kids than Covid. We don't close restaurants to all because of that, but those with sever allergies know how to avoid contact.
