Newsweek reports that the documents found at Trump's home contained payroll listings of US spies. Speculation surrounds the list and a $2 billion deal with Saudi Arabia and Kushner that raised eyebrows earlier this year.
Newsweek had also reported that Garland knew nothing about the raid.

Show us the letter, or at least the name of the person who'd made that claim?
I can’t “solidly prove” anything, and neither can you. We will both see when and if there are trials to weigh these matters. But from the reliable sources I’ve been reading and listening to, the element of classification is not necessary to establishing violation of the statutes in the warrant.

I sure don’t. I can’t imagine Trump spending a minute behind bars. He’ll be dead long before it comes to that.
Trump can file appeal after appeal, he has billions of dollars to stay out of the pokey. In fact, he would probably enjoy the spotlight of a trial, which would be watched by the whole world - it would surely appease his enormous ego to have so much attention lavished on him.
He's already 76 and is far from being the picture of health. I think he has enough money to keep kicking the can down the road or better yet, have his devotees send their hard earned money to his legal fund.

Grateful for unproven detail by unknown sources? Didn't y'all learn anything over these past 6 years?
Newsweek had also reported that Garland knew nothing about the raid.
And Newsweek was criticized rightly for having said that. At best it was premature. It’s possible Garland didn’t know about the specific time/day it would be executed, but he did know it was going to happen.
In any event, I don’t consider Newsweek’s reporting trustworthy until it is followed up and verified by other sources.
