Trump did not personally remove anything. Take it up with his staff. Trump has a secret clearance. He can review/store whatever he wants as long as the are kept under lock and key.
No, he can't do whatever he wants with documents. A little thing call the Presidential Records Acts prohibits that.
IF there is proof he declassified those documents, this is a nothing burger as that was his right as President. And if he didnt well the DOJ already established with Hilary Clinton that unless there was illegal intent there is no crime. Remember Comey's big speech on the matter saying the FBI and Justice department found Hilary had Yes broken the law but since there was no intent it was not a crime.....
In his zeal to persecute Hillary, Trump signed a law in 2018, making the removal of classified documents a felony. The penalty was changed from one year to five years making it a felony.

Even unclassified documents that pertain to his Presidency are not to be removed form The White House. They are to become part of the National Archives.
What this will come down to is whether Trump declassified the documents and who actually removed the documents (for liability purposes). I don't even know the process for the president to formally declassify documents. Is it a simple "they are declassified" statement or is something more required? I don't know. I've seen procedures for general original classification authorities to declassify documents, but never for the president.
yep, the president has the power to unilaterally declassify anything....the constitution gives him that right
just because it has an old stamp on it that says "classified".....doesn't mean it's still classified
all Trump has to say is he declassified it all
Hillary was never president....she can't do that
