This is very different. This is like telling a woman if she doesn't want to get pregnant, get her tubes tied, or don't have sex.

We're talking about the situation when conception happened.

Biology 101.

It's amazing how many women have no idea how male reproduction works.
But oh, the outrage that anyone should make suggestions to men about what they should do with their bodies! Oh, my, how terrible that notion is!

We get it. Men OWN THEIR OWN BODIES, and you damn well better never forget it!

Women's bodies, on the other hand, belong to everyone, it seems, so everyone gets a say in what she does with it.

Yep. They accuse you of hating men or not being able to get along with men.

All that energy they expend whining 'its not fair" but when you ask what rights a woman has that a man does not they come up empty. When you offer suggestions for options they get offended and act like you are the bad guy. Why are they not using that energy to get more male BC options on the market, like they did Viagra. Many have been studied and in trials for decades.

I dont even know why they are all upset over it. All studies and statistics point to the majority of men influencing women to abort, less than half of fathers compelled by the court to pay child support, dont. These are the ones who have an order, many women never request CS at all. They complain about the 600+ to 900+ abortions, well theres a lot of poor men who arent having to pay CS.

This insane pleading that women are victims of "reproduction" is ludicrous. it's just absolutely insane.
How are the answers to those questions any of your business, assuming you're not a professional counselor or researcher? I certainly don't agonize over such questions.

Woman can do whatever they want to THEIR bodies. No argument there. Have a 50-on-1 gang bang if you want. [ick]

Killing another life? Not so much. Yeah, doing that is wrong.

Biology 101. 95% of biologists, most of which are pro-choice, non religious and identify as Democrats, agree that life begins at conception.

Didn't your public school offer human reproduction as part of biology?

When you have decided that women's bodies belong to everyone then I guess you also have the right to know everything that she does with it, especially if she did so without a man's consent. That should never be allowed, because that uterus IS NOT HERS TO DECIDE WHAT TO DO WITH.

Men's reproductive organs, of course, belong wholly and only to men.

Its even been brought up by other posters that 800+ women dying yearly due to pregnancy and childbirth is nothing to even register on anyone's radar, yet there are way less than 800 men paying child support (Im estimating) for an unwanted child conceived from an uncommitted relationship with a basic stranger and yet they should consider opt out financial abortions for men.

I also have empathy for men in this situation, but the law already provides for termination of parental responsibility and rights at a judges discretion so its not like it is not already an option. Having been on both sides of CS I can tell you getting CS is not as easy as people think. And getting it from those who do have casual sex is almost unheard of as they do tend to be irresponsible.
Exactly part of the reason I could never support this proposal.

Who is most likely to benefit from it? Not poor men, because they have no money to take for child support. Not irresponsible men because they have ways and already construct their own financial abortion plans whether its moving out of reach, working off the books, or otherwise hiding assets.

That leaves generally responsible men who are going to ask a court to absolve them which imo will be mainly men who are middle class, upper class and wealthy men who can afford to support the children they father.

Picture the court room. Men who appear to have stepped out of Greys Anatomy.......double and triple 6 figure earning surgeons who had oopsies and fell into the cute Starbucks barista across from the hospital and fathered a child they need to distance themselves from before the wife who may overlook their infidelity but not their love child finds out. Next will be similarly situated attorneys, politicians and others from the high earning professional classes.

Then we will have the single version of same type men. Next the middle class men who can afford to support their child but just don't want to.

Still lining up to support these children as a taxpayer when their mom can't and their dad won't? I'm not. I might reconsider if the state sells tickets to these side show court rooms that would be sufficient to fund support for the kids.

No one cares what a woman does with her own body. Take a look around. Literally.

Women just shouldn't kill another body because it is more convenient for them. It's wrong.

The failings of public school education are never more prominent than in abortion threads. Where women fail to understand the very basics of reproductive health. Outright fail. F.

And are proud of that fact.

Exactly what many posters are telling women even after conception happened. Dont want to get pregnant dont have sex, use two types of BC, make sure your partner wears a condom. Exactly what women are told. Get pregnant anyway, too bad, so sad.

Again, not telling anyone to do anything. Its an option. And isnt preventing conception the goal. Freeze sperm you can still have children. Tubal ligation and IVF is also an option for women.

For the tiny few men who are ordered to pay for a child conceived through casual sex there is an option to have a judge terminate financial responsibility. Today that is probably as likely to happen as a woman getting a legal abortion in my state.

But you want the law to punish the child a woman who agrees with you delivered by absolving its father of the requirement to help support it financially if not emotionally?
