No one told Trump to overvalue his properties when seeking loans. That's bank fraud.
The case is based upon Trump's own documents. In other words, he testifies against himself with the documents he himself generated. He cooked his own goose years ago.
There are serious legal consequences for bank fraud.
Do you think banks give loans based upon value without using there own appraiser?
do you think property taxes are based upon what the property owner says the value is?
There can also be a big difference in opinions over the value of property.
I was involved in a lawsuit over the value of vacant land. The other side appriaser said $15 a square ft our appraiser said $47 per square ft. Arbitration arrived at $37. so our appriser was was almost 30% above the arbritated final number. doesn't mean there was fraud. The other side was even farther off. ( not important for this discussion beut they had to pay our legal fees because they we so far off)
The value of the Trump name on properties is a subjective matter and no doubt Trump values it very high.

I cant wait for Trump to butt heads with the IRS in court. He's already tried to settle this case. He knows he will owe a bunch. He's going to have to sell something. They dont play nice when you try and jerk them around. They will have none of his delay tactics.

Cash-poor Trump may have to dump his skyscrapers at 'fire sale' prices if he loses NY fraud lawsuit: biographer
Appearing on MSNBC on Sunday afternoon, Donald Trump biographer and senior executive editor of Bloomberg Opinion, Tim O'Brien, claimed that, should the former president go head-to-head with New York Attorney General Letitia O'Brien and lose the $250 million lawsuit she has filed against him, he will likely have to liquidate his properties --and at fire sale prices.
Speaking with MSNBC host Alex Witt, O'Brien suggested that Trump's worth is wrapped up in his real estate portfolio and he doesn't have access to enough cash to pay penalties and fines if he loses his court battle.
Yes. It amazes me how threatened some people are when they encounter a highly intelligent assertive woman. I don't care if they disagree with her politics. But to denigrate her personally just to make themselves feel better is such a juvenile way of dealing with others.

It is well-known that Trump has a habit of delaying and dragging out litigation. Only government can deal with his stall tactics.
That doesn't explain anything about why they were unable to determine the value of the property. I would have to assume any large loans made based upon value were based upon professional appraisals (independent from Trump's assertions) requested by the bank.
PRobably there we no lawsuits from the banks because there we no damages. Were the loans defaulted upon? (assuming it is correct there were none over this)

The banks are also wealthy and in the business of making money.
We don't know yet. Tish James made criminal referrals of the Trump family to the DOJ, the IRS, and SDNY, and turned over everything she found in her investigation, which is a lot. What happens next depends on how quickly all of them can go through the million pages or so of evidence and make their decisions.
*Impeachment 1 'Ukraine phone call' -> Result: not guilty
He was impeached but not removed. Impeached politicians do not merit re-election.

Read the link. Charges as to January 6.

Let's wait for the panel's findings, huh?

No one is above the law; Hillary never lied to the feds about having docs. Let whataboutism go.
Trump has to answer for what he's done and what he's failed to do. No more and no less.

Then, after the news cycles, nothing happened. After six years, any sound mind should know better.

Bingo….but they’re so hopeful that a new flavor of the week is going to get him no matter how many times Lucy pulls the football away
