Sadly for you guys he is not going to go away. Him and DeSantis will never see eye to eye and they will destroy any unity in the party. Maybe DeSantis can win a general but I don't think he can beat Trump in a primary. I have no doubt that Trump can't win the general since he has not won anything since 2016. You guys have too deal with the monster you created. He is not going to step down until he burns everything to the ground.
He most definitely WAS cheated, but that doesn't change the fact that "his day has passed", as you say. He needs to step aside and be a team player.
He wasn't cheated and he's a complete narcissist who only cares about himself and maybe his kids (definitely Ivanka) He's never going to be a team player.

He just needs to go away. He is incapable of being a team player. If he was he would be in a much stronger position.
He's toast. He just doesn't know it yet. As soon as DeSantis smoked the election GOP pundits and pols came flooding out of the woodwork willing to entertain the discussion that Trump may have jumped the shark. Prior to that they were scared silent. Nobody dared mention the possibility that Trump might not be the next president.
Apparently the paperwork has been filed....he's running...that's the rumor.
And although, the midterm election outcome was less than ideal, there is no way he can back down now. That would imply he is the root of the problem....and we know he doesn't believe that.
I would like to see Pence, DeSantis, Trump and not many others. If there is another field of 17.....Trump will win again. His base is loyal. It's not the majority of Repubicans but it is enough that if there is a huge field, he might pull off the primaries.

Will Trump announce (a) that he is running for Pres in 2024, or (b) that he is not running, and he'll endorse DeSantis?
