Here's the thing. He's not going to suddenly straighten up and fly right. He's got serious problems with creating fake realities, and he's still doing it. He's STILL doing it.
If he's sworn in, he will be a serious liability in Congress for the Republicans, because the thirsty media will use every chance they get to get him on their shows saying something bizarre and untrue, and damaging, in everything he participates in.
What is he going to say next, that compares with he's "Jew-ish"? Stay tuned, you'll know soon enough.
I would call that more old age confusion than a lie. Everyone already knows his son died of cancer. And he knows everyone knows that, it was quite public.
Is his real name George Santos and is he actually gay (he was married to a woman....or was he?)? He seems to have rolled together several identity groups to set himself apart.
I read that he is wanted in Brazil for stealing checkbooks from old people and using the checks.
Who knows if even this is true.
However, according to what I read, his sainted mother was involved in this scam as she would get jobs as a caregiver, and he would get the checkbooks.
Wish I could remember what time period that this, allegedly, occurred.
It is easily confirmed. It was one elderly man his mother was taking care of, and he confessed to it. He also lost a lawsuit from a friend he borrowed $5000 from and never paid back,and was evicted twice.
I didn't read anything about his mom being in on it, where did you see that?
Just saw this clever poetic comment in response to an article about the GOP getting the representative-elect it deserves and courted in George Santos. What can we Americans do, folks, but share some gallows humor in the face of more disrespect & mocking of our government by the Republican Party. Happy New Year & peace to all in 23.

I never heard of this guy. Where did he grow up, or is that a mystery too? There must be several people who know this guy. Has several people come forth or are the tabloids throwing this stuff out there. If he is a punk with a big ego who must rule everyone because his mother said he was so special, the republican party needs to toss this sucker out. Or could it be that he is a Trojan Horse?
I'm just wondering, where was all this information during his campaign for office. It's like all this information comes to the surface after the election, or only taken seriously after the election. Perhaps if his opponent had looked further into his background, just maybe the election results would have been different.

He confessed to lying about all of it. But people who know him say he's a pathological liar, that even in regular conversation with people he's constantly making things up and even giving detail about the lies. If you say you went to Hawaii, he'll spend 30 minutes telling you in great detail about his trip to Tahiti that he never took. That kind of guy. I truly think he has a mental disorder, this is not normal even for politicians.
