Presidential approval ratings Truman to Biden.

The 2 Bush's had the highest ratings (89 & 84) but also the most rapid decrease to the lowest. Trump had a high of 49 and a low of 34, Biden started off at 56 but declined to 39.

And to think that Joe Biden declined to 39 even with all of the support he receives from our legacy media sources!

If he received constant negative coverage like President Trump received, I’m sure Joe Biden would be at an all-time low approval rating, like maybe in the 20% range.

That's what I was thinking. The media has tried their best to convince us of how great Joe is and it is still not working. The media worked 24/7 to undermine and discredit Trump in the eyes of the easily manipulated public and despite the many Pro American policies he put forth the constant doom and gloom by the Left worked.

It's interesting to see how middle of the road Obama was despite the media and their love affair with him. Maybe this shows that people are not that swayed by the media when they pucker up to kiss the behinds of some politicians?

There is a reason Trump has negative coverage, it's his despicable behavior. His behavior lends itself to negative coverage.

and ask the same question, and a clearer picture comes out for the question asked - (the question you searched for when you saw the fox news piece last night that angered you, when Ike was #1 and reagan #2 and Biden the toilet as rated by a majority of DEMOCRATS, or coincidences just happen ;-)

Why hasn’t Joe Biden’s despicable behavior led to negative coverage?

The left has a cult just like the right does; the left's is just much larger and more powerful.

That was then. This is now...

Four Years Out, Some Voters Look Back at Trump’s Presidency More Positively

While the memories of Mr. Trump’s tumultuous and chaotic administration have not significantly faded, many voters now have a rosier picture of his handling of the economy, immigration and maintaining law and order. Ahead of the 2020 election, only 39 percent of voters said that the country was better off after Mr. Trump took office. Now, looking back, nearly half say that he improved things during his time as president.

The poll’s findings underscore the way in which a segment of voters have changed their minds about the Trump era, recalling those years as a time of economic prosperity and strong national security. The shift in views about his administration comes even as Mr. Trump faces dozens of felony counts and will appear in a New York courtroom on Monday for jury selection in one of his four criminal trials.

I’m not sure it’s possible to go lower than 28-32 these days due to polarization now. Remember too that Trump outperformed his approval rating by quite a bit. The belief on this is that polls aren’t capturing any of the 18-24 vote anymore which likely explains why the Dems did so well in 2022 as well. Obviously Trump doesn’t get AS much of the 18-22 vote but in purple or red areas a good amount of people that age do vote GOP so I feel you often have to add 3 or so percent if not 4 these days and adjust it based on election cycle to account for that. Some pollsters are now evidently doing that on their polls
