My step-daughter phoned me this morning, and we chatted for an hour or so. She never said a word about who was lesbian and who wasn't, I wonder if I'm missing something.
Are you saying you suspect that your step-daughter is lesbian, or just bi-sexual, and hasn't told you yet???
We were waiting for the bus to take us to work the other day and he told me that he hung out with his ex gf and her "partner" the other night. I was curious about this and he said that neither had ever been in a same sex relationship prior to meeting one another but are now committed homosexuals, for the time being.
Could be a phase or experimentation. Anne Heche seems to go through this phase in odd numbered years. Even numbered years she goes back to men.
there are plenty of men that "experiment" or just flat out have sex with other men.. I don't think they are gay... I think human sexuality is not black and white... and women do not have the rigid societal pressures put upon them like men do.. thinking that somehow being attracted to another man makes you a wuss... or a pansy homosexual...

No, why do you ask? I thought this thread was about interesting things that people told us at the bus stop, so I mentioned a conversation I had. We mostly talked about Hurricane Ike. Now that you mention it, I've never even wondered about the sexual preferences of my step-daughter. Was I supposed to? Maybe I'm out of the loop. Maybe she is. If you want me to, perhaps I can ask her next time. I never thought the sexuasl preferences of people would be worthy of a thread, so it never occurred to me that that was the topic,
I'm not sure if it is that cool to be gay in high schoool, but it is definitely nice that homosexuals are not shunned anymore. They have the same right to be happy as anybody else.
Besides, let the coworker's girlfriend experiment a bit. Where's the hurt in that?
If you're female and sexy, yes it's okay to be gay. If you look like a man, or are male and gay, people will still throw stones at you. It's not tolerance, it's bigotry and chauvinism in disguise.
Nope, it's not a trend. Poor Lindsay Lohan is just now coming to terms with her gayness.

Hot Lesbians. Oh man, wonder if that dude could .......oh never mind
In the real world, though, lesbians don't look like they do in pornos. They tend to look like this:
I have to wonder, why don't lesbians just become straight? Its not as if these butchy women are anything remotely feminine. I would think you would have to be attrated to men/masculinity if you're attracted to the people in the pictures above. Those two are more manly than I could ever be.
Such ignorant statements! I'm gay and have lots of lesbian friends. Sure, there's a few boyish ones, a couple outright butch ones, but MOST of the lesbians I encounter are not distinguishable from any other woman. Listen carefully since you seem to have a hard time understanding: YOU ONLY NOTICE THE STEREOTYPICAL ONES THE MAJORITY OF GAY PEOPLE LOOK AND ACT LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. Got it?
