A 22-year-old college grad looking to pay off her student loans will auction off her virginity at Nevada's infamous Moonlight Bunny Ranch, Us magazine reported.

The Sacramento State grad, who uses the pseudonym "Natalie Dylan," told "The Insider" she is "ready for the controversy."

"I don't think auctioning my virginity will solve all my problems, but it will create some financial stability," she said, according to the magazine.

Is this an example of "thinking outside the box"?

maybe there, but nowhere else.A couple months ago I read a article about a 85 year old guy who saw a women on the street, she turned out to be a decoy.

What a waste to use police and funds for policing sex.....I mean at 85 I hope I still am alive enough to be able to be with a woman.

The guy said at 85,he was looking to talk amnd flirt with a woman and they carted him off to jail.....

Now this selling your virginity deal,I think it is in bad taste but whatever.

Not a very original idea.

The basic premise (sell off/marry off a virgin) has been around for centuries. In societies where marriages were/are arranged, a virgin daughter was married off to the highest bidder or to the man who could do the most to improve/advance the status of the girl's family.

The girl in question could probably raise more money if she conducted the auction in a place like the UAE or Dubai. Face it, Nevada is probably the last place that comes to mind when looking for a virgin.

I hope she realizes that although she's selling her body for profit, she's also giving away her self-respect for free. Not a good business transaction if you ask me.

I wish her all the luck in the world. She will need it.
