I'm thinking he would be a cross between Al Gore and Russ Feingold (senator from Wisconsin) in terms of policy, personality, and overall temperment. Oratory-wise, throw in a little Barack Obama.

I disagree- I don't think that Lincoln was a narcissistic fool with an over active libido.
george bush, launched the country into a blood bath, ran up a huge debt and diminished state and individual rights. and gave speeches asserting his compassion for the people. what is horrible is i like both of them.
All with the approval of Dems who voted to pass his agenda as everything had bipartisan approval under Bush, unlike with Obama where there is usually bipartisan opposition. He is running the country into the ground faster than Bush ever could.

Winston Churchill suffered from depression and some would say he was the greatest western leader of the 20th century. I do not think that Lincoln had a formal psychological evaluation or diagnosis. Marfan's syndrome is not associated with psychiatric problems.
I agree that Jefferson was brilliant. The volume of his published thoughts is simply amazing.
