As usual, it looks like a lot of people just want the gays to go away.

It's so easy to hate based on ignorance, isn't it?

It's the anti-gay crowd that caused this ruckus by voting in unprecedented amounts of discrimination against gays on Election Day in four states last week.

It used to be relatively peaceful around here, remember?

So, if you voted in any way to discriminate against gays last week, you are, in part, responsible for creating the explosion of discussions about gay issues. Good job.

Says a person who started some of the gay-related threads him/herself. lol

Something tells me that if a gay/lesbian/transgender sub-forum were created, it wouldn't be G/L/B/T people starting most of the threads. Just a hunch.

It does seem like some of the most anti-gay posters are the ones who participate the most in the gay-themed threads.

Hmm. I wonder why.

In fact if you look, ALL the threads he started in this thread are gay-related, and all of the threads he has participated in are gay-related.

Sounds like a very good argument for their own area.

Sort of like a gay ghetto, right?

True. I didn't mean to be offensive. I shouldn't have used the word "polluting" and it's not really what I meant. These are important issues. IMHO, important issues that collect hundreds of posts daily deserve their own subforum.

The 2nd ammendment debates are important to me, so I've commented on several of those threads, but that doesn't mean I want to see 20 different threads on guns each time I visit the forum (like last week). Variety is the spice of life!

I'm cool with whatever. It was just a suggestion.

a socialist/communism forum would be good as well.
i'm pretty sure there are people out there who support it and would like to discuss it.

How about a Sarah Palin subform, to get all those posts off the elections forum where they seem to be taking over and into ONE place.
