It's not just those 3%. It's the school children that are able to attend school in peace, the open-air markets that are safe from carbombs, the reconcilation of the 3 factions of Iraqi's, and many, many examples that all will be well there. Thanks to our troops.

I am with the troops and know several of them and all of them hate this war and tell me that I should see how the Iraqis are being treated. It is horrible.
Aside from Saddam's brutality, he actually ran a secular government for the most part. That changed after our invasion. Extremists (Al Queda Sunni's?) killed many Christian leaders and many Christians fled due to persecution and in fear of losing their lives. I'm glad to see the news that Sanrene posted, and I hope it keeps getting better for everyone in Iraq. But before our invasion, there was little or no persecution or violence between the religious groups.
Precisely. It is the Bush buddy Saudis that are the extremist Muslims. Fifteen of the 9/11 hijackers were from Saudi.
I think we should get out of Iraq asap and worry about what is going on in Americas soil.
I worry about this nation but thankfully it is headed towards a more liberal way.
