Looks almost European. Especially with all the rotaries on the roads; I understand that they love those in Europe.

Africa does have a growing number of developing countries/cities. One reason is because how many people are getting rich off oil. Just like in the middle east you can use Dubai for example.

I appreciate the photos. I've travelled all over (Europe, Asia, Central America), but have never been to Africa. I'd love to visit it some day.

That's the problem, only some people are benefiting from the oil, mainly corrupt goverment officials and business men. I lived on and off in West Africa in a very oil rich country as a child during the 60's and 70's and to be honest not much has changed, because nothing is being spent on the infrastructure of the countries or on worthwhile programms. The result? I big gap in rich and poor and the rich get richer while the poor get poorer. That's the big shame about Africa.

Uh doesn't that described most countries and continents in the world. United states, middle east, europe, mexico, china, india, etc. These last 8 year's under george bush haven't been to pleasant. For the middle and lower class here in the states.
