Nah... All they have to do is write "Rangel Rule" on their tax return when (or if...) they pay their back taxes. That could be stretched on indefinitely! "Rangel Rule" - I love it!

WHERE is the $800,000,000,000 coming from again??? We are going to BORROW it....isn't the reason we are in this mess because of debt? If this is what we are thinking will solve the problem expect a LONG hard road ahead.
Kind of amazing. When some fool uses a gun improperly and stray bullets kill some 8-year old girl, right-wingers have no problem recognizing that guns themselves were not at fault. But when some fool perverts the credit system for personal profit and stray toxic assets cripple a global economic system, they are all real sure that by gosh, it was the very existence of debt at all that caused the whole darned problem.

Non-issue to you, maybe, but not to others. If you're so worried about the state of our economy, perhaps we should make you personally responsible for making sure Rangel and Geithner pay ALL of their back taxes PLUS interest and penalties. We could really use all the money we can get to pay for Obama's porked-out stimulus package.
