Also, he said as soon as he was POTUS, we'd start to see an immediate draw down of troops from Iraq, which again is what I voted for, and now we find out it won't start for at least 16 months...again, not any change that I believed in.
It takes a bit of planning to move troops and equipment. A responsible drawdown is being planned by the military commanders. If you know of a quicker and safer way of moving 200,000 or so miltary personal and thier equipment, i'm sure that the generals would like to here from you. I know it took me a couple of months planning & executition just to move 1 block, and that was just 2 people, 2 cats and a very large dog.
Not one (NOT ONE) member of Congress has read the stimulus bill, which they will vote on today. The bill was printed and made available to Congress last night at midnight "if" they were still awake and wanted it.
It's absolutely amazing what the Dumbocrats have done...and are about to do to all Americans.
Obama still thinks he's on the campaign trail. He's off on the campaign trail trying to sell the stimulus bill and fostering his fascination with Lincoln. Sometimes it's easier to look to the past than to deal with the present. He has not yet got out of campaign gear and into governing gear. Just because people do a great job with campaigning, doesn't necessarily mean those skills will translate over to governing. Bipartisanship doesn't mean agreeing with one person's agenda. It does mean sitting down in a room with these bozos from both sides of congress and hashing it out. A good leader would do that. A good campaigner will continue to sell his product and blame those who don't agree with him instead of being a part of the process. Big difference.

You do realize that they have been working and negotiating on this bill for over a week, right? They are all familiar with what is going on. If not, then they are not doing their jobs.
All you believe is what you want to believe. The American people spoke at election time and choose their representatives, you need to come to terms with that.
I am an Obama supported and voted for him. With that said, if he makes a mistake or does something I dont agree with then I will be one of the first to criticize. So far, he has done well given what he has to deal with.

Ummm, you do realize that he has met with Republican leaders multiple times over this process to talk about the bill. He has almost met with Republican governors.
Transparency has nothing to do with whether YOU PERSONALLY know where to find the text of a pending bill.
Transparency included the committment to WAIT a period of time before final vote on a bill - to allow for public review and public comments. The same with the bill's signing.
