This is a great piece going over several recent facts which should make the GOP squirm.

Umm.....thats what the losing or minority party does...they obstruct or oppose the majority party. Democrats were doing it to Bush from 2001-2006.

LOL @ the spin!! That's like quoting Rush Limbaugh saying that the Democratic Party is going down the tubes.....

Only difference is that people actually listen to Limbaugh as opposed to the poor man's Ellen, Rachel Maddow

Yep. The Republicans did it to Clinton, and the Democrats did it to H.W. Bush.

It is nothing new, yet people act like the concept was just invented last month.

Maddow is entitled to the opinion parent company GE tells her to have. But she has one vote, just like me. The trend is against the Democrats and Obama. Exactly how long did you think campaign slogans like "Yes, I can", "change" and "hope" would be considered an adequate substitution for integrity and competency in office?

Not so, my friend. Their approval ratings are well over double the Republicans and increasing. The American people have seen the Republican obstructionism & do nothing attitude and decided they don't like it.

Not like this just 5 years ago the Republicans were whining about Democrats using 30 odd filibusters to block Republican legislation while the GOP upped it to almost 130 odd filibusters/filibuster like moves the year they became the minority. They've not just doubled down on the obstructionism but done it over 400% more. Republicans have really became the party of "No"; no matter what is on the table.

The IMPORTANT point about obstructionism is WHAT is obstructed.

The Repblicans ALWAYS obstruct anything that would help the average American.
