McMenacing? Cop Accused Of Pulling Gun At McD's - cbs4denver.com (http://cbs4denver.com/investigates/denver.police.suspension.2.1049330.html - broken link)
Denver airport police got fed up with McDonald's employees taking too long at the drive thru (ugh, how enviromentally unfriendly, they should have gone inside) so one of them pointed a gun at the window before driving off without paying. Only one of the two officers was suspended. I don't know which one is the bad guys and which one is the good guys. Lord knows many of us have been the victim of lazy employees who feel their personal conversation is more important than good customer service but I've never pulled a gun on them. Probably because I didn't have one on me at the time. Might be the only way to get young people to day to actually do their freaking job in a timely manner.

Yeah, that's the solution, pull a freaking gun!

Do you people have any answers to any issue that doesn't involve threatening or shooting someone?

God of the idiots please spare the rest of us!

Placed on administrative leave with pay? Ha.

I hope that, in the end, he is fired and prosecuted. A felony conviction would bar him from employment as a peace officer permanently....at least in most states. It would also severely restrict his right to own a gun. That's exactly what he deserves.

the mcdonald's employee with all his faults and lowly status, will have a longer career than the fool dressed up like a cop.

I'm going to assume you're being facetious. A couple years ago up north, I was in the drive-thru at mcdonalds, it was around bar time. It took so fricking long, that I eventually told the girl to refund me the money & I took off. I should've complained to the manager but I just wanted to get the heck out of there. Now, I believe that solution is much more logical than pulling a gun, don't you?

You're right. I worked in fast food in the 1980s and so I know the ins and outs. If I waited long enough to receive the order I keep the receipt which has the date, time, and store ID number. If it's a national chain store I go online or call the toll free number back in the days before internet and inform them of the problem with the staff, food, or condition of the restaurant. One Burger King in Corpus Christi was so bad I called the dept of health and they shut down that restaurant until repairs were made, mold growth in ceiling removed, and entire restaurant passed a cleaning inspection. The corporation also sent in a training team to re-educate the management team and the employees they choose to keep on staff.

Make an example of him . He was needlessly brandishing a weapon and implying bodily harm. Charge that mofo!

And you can bet that any pig stupid enough to go back to that McDonald's will get a burger enhanced with some sort of bodily excretion.

1. if caught, that could get the employee in trouble with the law
2. cops know this and won't go back there for a long time.

I am not sure what I find more disturbing, a cop pulling a gun on a McDs employeee or someone when hearing this shocking story is focused on the enviroment because the cops went through the drive through. Kinda creepy.
