Did I say that? Hmmm, I don't think so......

No, the government shouldn't, but neither should the Corporations that have been running the government for the last 40 years.
With the religious conservatives in-tow we are looking more and more like a fascist state (and that was before the last election).

The government should be managing (the country) for the citizens not the Corporations.

Europe discovered that government doesn't solve anything and only cost a lot and makes people lazy and drinking coffee for hours since the governement will pay for it....

I have seen it, lived there and know how bad it is and the number of people who want to immigrate from Europe to other countries is so large that is says enough of how many people like socialism...

Where does it say that in the Constitution? The problem is this current administration wants to run our individual lives and alter our behavior to conform to their political ideology.

Corps make money and hire people to work for them and pay the highest tax rate in the world which is good for the government too. What is wrong with that? Oh your left handed leaders say corps are evil so you run around spewing the rhetoric. Government should run our lives right and anybody who makes money is evil.

Let's bring back the original owners. Maybe they would do a better job of protecting it. We've failed. (all, not any one group, race, political view or religion)

Concentrated power is never good. It doesn't matter whether that power is in the hands of government or corporations.

I don't care that corporations hire people. Workers create the profit, so it's a two way street. Companies don't hire people out of the goodness of their hearts.

None of those institutions are spending us into bankruptcy trillions at a time. The reverse "starve the beast" strategy of the current administraition will, in the next few years, place us in the most precarious finacial position since the founding. If we can stop it in time, we may be able, through responsible spending over many many years, get ourselves to a place of stability again. As is now, we are on a one way trip to the third world poor house.

Have you never read the Constitution?

Ninth Amendment: The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

Tenth Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
