Can anyone tell me how are electronic medical records going to help anything?
I can give you an example from my own experience. One time, I had an ingrown toenail removed. The dr's office said they would fax a prescription for pain meds to my pharmacy. I stopped in at the pharm several times over the course of a few hours waiting for this fax to arrive, all the while in quite a bit of pain, and wanting just to go to bed. With EMR, my dr. now can fax an rx right from her computer. In other words, better patient care!

I agree that electronic records are the way to go and MUCH more efficient and cost effective as long as provisions are made for backups.
So there un-insured....Were in the Constitution does it say people "have to be insured"?
No public hospital can refuse anyone ( just ask the piece of garbage illegals) so there are no un-insured.
Move on !
