Good for him! It is good to see the President of the United States bonding with our troops. I didn't vote for him but I like, very much.

The photo is great, btw. I'm lovin' it.

Surely these were just random troops, not hand selected in any way.

No. Definitely not.

Have you ever served as a US military member? If not dont assume they are so dumb that they cannot make up thier own mind as to who they would like to show support for and who they dont. I served and met the 2 Presidents who were in office while I was on active duty not because we were hand picked, but because I wanted to. Pull your head out of your *&^ and give these folks some credit.

Of course the military is quite conservative....just google it and see.

Those we know actually over there did not support Obama(or McCain for that matter).

So, that's what you think of our men/women in uniform risking their lives, eh?

Hmmm...that guy with glasses looks like he might be getting ready to pickpocket the guy hugging Obama.

But, hey, everyone looks happy to me.

I blieve Obama thought US troops in Afghanistan were air raiding villages....

And other prominent Leftist politicians considered them cold blooded killers or compared them to Nazis...

Oh...are these the same troops that don't have the brains to decide about the Iraq War?

Just wondering.

...and I do know that when you're in the military, and you're told to be somewhere...you do it. So don't give me that horsesh*t.

For the record, I'm the daughter of a US Marine, and sister of USAF in Protocol at the Pentagon. I'm the sister-in-law and cousin of two family members serving right now in Iraq and Afghanistan. I'm the niece of a retired Lt. Commander in the US Navy. I have a little knowledge on photo ops within the military. This ain't Bob Hope.
