naah. it's as close as i could get to a vehicle that's basically the antithesis of everything a hummer is or represents.
Honestly, the first time I saw a SmartCar on the road (here in Palm Springs), I laughed out loud. I can admit I felt a little mean about it, but I just thought, "What a ridiculous car" - ridiculous, mainly because it's so small. You could be crushed in it very easily.

are you worried about what will happen if no one buys the hummer operation from GM?
Nah, I'm not worried. The Hummer H3 is derived from the Chevy Colorado and the GMC Canyon. Those two trucks are still in production, and with the millions of GM trucks and SUVs on the road, there will always be options for service, if I need it.
I'm very sure that Hummer will bought, and will survive. There's already some experimenting being done to turn the H3 into a hybrid that gets 100 miles per gallon. I would love to see that happen, of course.
According to the votes, a majority of us own pickup trucks or SUVs. (about 60%, currently)
